Cadet Steven J. McNamee’s career began as a police officer in Hickory Hills, Illinois and for a railroad. He was training to become a firefighter at the Chicago Fire Academy when he died in a training accident, two weeks before his graduation.
On 11/24/93 CFD candidate Steven J. McNamee died in the performance of his duties.
